Beginner's Animation Workshop for Climate Challenge: 1.5 Degree Films

In November SaltSpace presented a free beginners animation workshop in response to the 'Climate Challenge: 1.5 Degrees Films' initiative facilitated by Jan Graham.

Climate Challenge: 1.5 Degrees Films invites people to make 90-second films to share their thoughts and ideas about climate change and how it is affecting us as individuals, our surroundings, families and communities. Youth groups, schools, community organisations, activist groups and individuals were all encouraged to take part. With a focus on animation skills, here is a taster of what types of questions participants responded to in their films:

How would you reimagine life and our future for beautiful Scotland - and our entire planet?
What changes do you wish to see and how should we move forward for a better future globally?
Do you have a story and/or experience to share that would inspire people to think and act differently?
Would your home and region be affected in a particular way and how do you think your community would respond?
