'A tattoo is for life, not just for Christmas' was a charity event featuring 32 different tattoo artists from around Scotland selling their work to raise money for charity.

In the winter of 2019,'Makers Market' turned our community space into lovely stalls of local artists' selling their creations including, jewellery, prints, drawings, paintings, photographs and much more!

The launch of SaltSpace was celebrated with a founding members show. Each committee member presented one piece of work in our gallery space, celebrating the work of artists that made it happen. It was a chance for artists to come chat and find out more about Saltspace and what we can offer emerging artists in Glasgow.

Ran by Claire Mcginlay and Robert McCormack, emerging artists from Glasgow School of Art alumni and final year students applied their own approaches to life drawing into tutored classes over the course of a few moths in our community space, creating a diverse programme!

'Paintings on legs' was a solo show by recent graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, Sean Ellcombe. Graduating from painting and printmaking in 2019, Sean presents six new objects made within our six-week Salt Gallery Residency.
