Shelia Macneill

Sheila MacNeill is landscape artist and educator based in Glasgow. Sheila’s work focuses on inner and outer landscapes. Starting from the directly representational, more abstract landscapes are created based on experiences of atmosphere, colours and textures. Many works incorporate the use of various types of plastic materials to create texture and comment on the increasing amount of plastic waste that is littered across every environment.During lockdown Sheila began to experiment with disposable face masks, as part of her work.
